The trouble with software is that it's not made for the little businesses. Because there's not a lot of scale and shareholder value in software for business owners that are barely making enough to pay their bills.

So we're asked to pay $99 for this and $29 a month for that and before we know it, our systems are costing us as much as the person that the systems were apparently going to replace.

And then there's the fact that big tech software just isn't really made for us, anyway.

Tech companies prefer big customers with big needs and big budgets.

As a serial solopreneur and entrepreneur I've been frustrated by what's on the market and decided to build my own software.

Instead of paying $33 a month for a quoting system that did only 80% of the things I needed it to do, I built my own for $25 that did all the things I wanted to do - and then opened it up for others to use as well.

Today that one piece of software has over 200 users - not enough for a tech company to bother with, but definitely big enough for me to get excited about!

That's what Solopreneur Systems is.

I think small when I think of systems. Because that's who I work best with. And it's achieveble without having to hire a call centre full of people in Bangalore to do it.
